My future sister-in-law made these neat star ornaments. I'm sure they don't just have to be for Christmas....and would look really pretty catching the sunlight.

All she did was buy a heavy beading-gauge wire, and cut a long length of it. She laid it on the table and then bent it into a zig-zag shape.
She pulled the wire into a circle, using 4 of the zig-zags, and making a fifth point by twisting the two ends together and making a hook.

She then strung green beads onto another smaller gauge wire, and wound that around the star shape, twisting the end and pinching near the top hook.
