Sad Poem

As I wander through the world,
See the stones that have been hurled,
Remind me,
Divorce is not an option.

The pain and wreckage can be seen,
We’re not where we have been,
Remind me,
Divorce is not an option.

As I make my own mistakes,
Hurling insults, faking fake,
Remind me,
Divorce is not an option.

When I’m angry, when I’m hurt,
When those words I want to blurt,
Remind me,
Divorce is not an option.

When alone and silent be
I am searching desperately
Remind me,
Divorce is not an option.

When the light dims to a glow,
When I’m at my lowest low,
Remind me,
Divorce is not an option.

When the howling winds do blow,
The tears, they ebb and flow,
Remind me,
Divorce is not an option.

Lord, You love us, this is true,
And when I don’t know what to do,
Remind me,
Divorce is not an option.

You have bigger plans than this,
But how easily we miss,
That Your love withstands each test,
Divorce is not an option.

As I live this life of mine,
May it beckon, may it shine.
May I show Your plan divine,
Divorce is not an option.

As generations come and go,
Thru Your love I want to show,
See us,
Divorce is not an option.

Give me wisdom, give me love,
Our biggest help comes from above,
Remind us:

God loves us so much. Recently I've noticed how much pain there is in the world, and how much we need to look to Him. Sometimes I feel so helpless, but I remember that I can pray. That God loves people more than I can ever imagine, and that He is looking over us all.
