Strawbery season is finally here! Mom told us about a patch that opened up down highway 71, near Dragonfly Gifts.
We went on Saturday with a couple friends, and got three nice bucketfuls. Strawberry smoothies...here we come!
I'm hoping to make a couple batches of jam, plus freeze some for smoothies and also have some to give away. Hopefully they don't overripen too fast!
What do you like to do with strawberries?

I'm curious to know how much your pails cost down there. (Well, not the pail but...) :)
Eat them! fresh strawberry pie is good. as well as so many other ways.
